If you don't mind me asking, how did the doctors conclude you had PCOS? I've had suspicions for a while that this is something I may have as well (mostly deduced from online reasearch and the like) but I'm afraid of spending the money to go to the doctor only to have them tell me there's no real way to find out. You look beautiful, by the way! Congratulations on the weight loss!
I have had a fasting glucose test, blood tests to test my hormone levels at different points in my cycle, and an ultrasound to look at my ovaries. I also have a history of ovarian cysts, I have had miscarriages, a family history of similar problems, and persistence. You know your body better than anyone else can, if you think something is wrong with you, then be persistent with the doctor and ask upfront about PCOS. You might be able to have a consultation with the doctor to get a sense of what tests they would do and how realistic moving forward would be.
yay
